Unfamiliar Trails in Victoria takes place on September 19 as a co-production with the Victoria (BC) based 2026 SALT New Music Festival. This event features premieres and reprised works of contemporary music performed by the renowned ensemble: the Quasar Saxophone Quartet (Montreal). Digital music instrumentalist, D. Andrew Stewart, also joins the group for the premiere of a quintet for karlax and four saxophones. Experience the performances of music by Canadian composers Rolf Boon, Amy Brandon (Classical Composition of the Year, JUNO 2026), Scott Edward Godin, Jordan Berg, and D. Andrew Stewart.
